Frame layouts
The Frame layout is the positioning of the bells. Some layouts like the 10.4 have a specific bell in a certain place so the pits on the diagram will have the number of the bell that goes there. Other frame layouts like the 8.3 for example can have any bell in any of the pits. In return, the bell pits in the 8.3 layout is marked with an X. Most founders go by a certain scheme for making the truss. I have decided to use a truss scheme similar to George Elphick but have incorporated my own additions to it to develop it.
