10.4 Frame Layout
The 10.4 frame arrangement has the bells in a specific order. It can either be clockwise or anti-clockwise but it makes it so the tenor swings towards the middle of the tower. In this arrangement, 5 bells swing in one way, 3,4,5,8 and 9, and the other 5 bells, 1,2,6,7 and 10, swing in the other direction. Like the 8.3 frame, this is another layout which makes all the force equal due to the way the bells face. Sometimes the ropes have to be drawn further below the wheel to make more space for the rope circle.
