8.3 Frame Layout
The 8.3 Layout has 4 bells facing vertically in the middle with the two bells at either end swinging in the same direction and the two bells in the middle swinging in the same direction the other way.
On each side of the middle four there are a set of 2 bells which swing in the opposite direction to one another.
In an 8.3 layout, the tenor is usually located right in the very middle. Bolney is an example which doesn't follow this and the tenor is at the far end of the middle 4.
This layout is very effective for keeping the forces even throughout the tower.

Bolney - Crawley, St John the Baptist - Turners Hill - Coleman's Hatch
